Trade Fair Showcases Achievements of University of Santo Tomas Alumni

Students, professors, and alumni of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) have every reason to celebrate. The university will be marking its 400th year in 2011, and we’re starting the festivities early with the first Thomasian Global Trade Expo (TGTE). It runs from October 15 to 17, 2010, at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

The event promises to be a showcase of the outstanding ventures UST alumni have made in the fields of science, business, sports, and culture and the arts.

An exhibit covering a wide range of industries – retail, food, tourism, IT, franchising, pharmaceutical – will be the biggest crowd-drawer, with over 50,000 business contacts and visitors expected to attend. Lectures by outstanding UST alumni and performances by Thomasian talents are also part of this three-day celebration.
